March 20. Day -1 till my birthday – yay! Another day of sunshine, another day of discovering new sides of beautiful Copenhagen. We stayed close to home, taking a sunset walk around Vesterbro and admiring the early signs of beautiful spring. The walk finished off with Andreas, aka the master chef, serving the most delicious salmon baked in the oven with pumpkins. Our first home cooked meal in a long, long time. For sure not the last since in a few days we will finally start receiving our weekly home delivery of fresh produce.
Tomorrow is my birthday. We usually either celebrate it by travelling or in a company of friends. This year it was initially planned to be the latter option with some home baked birthday buns (another of Andreas’ specialties), warm cocoa and hygge talk. Alas corona had other plans for the world and for my birthday. It is going to be a memorable day for sure. So long until then.
